El Laboratorio de Biología Ósea fue fundado el 24 de septiembre de 1987 por Resolución Nº 556/87 del Consejo Directivo de la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas, Universidad Nacional de Rosario. Está conformado por más de 20 profesionales de diversas ramas como Médicos, Bioquímicos, Lic. en Biotecnología, Odontólogos, Lic. en Nutrición, entre otros, así como estudiantes de Medicina bajo un programa de formación de recursos humanos en investigación. Llevamos a cabo proyectos de investigación tanto básica como traslacional relacionadas al metabolismo y enfermedades óseas. Además, los integrantes del Laboratorio tienen actividad docente tanto de grado como de postgrado y participación activa en sociedades científicas nacionales e internacionales.
